Artificial Intelligence generated portrait and sold record for 3.16cr : 

• A portrait of 'Edmond Belamy' , the first ever portrait made by Artificial Intelligence to be sold at a major auction, sold for Rs3.16cr($432,500).
•  It was sold in Christie's New York on Thursday.
• It is created using an algorithm that scanned historical artwork, it despicts a fictional character.
• The aims is to fool the Discriminator into thinking that the new images are real- life portraits.
